We need Your Help :)

Matt & I have talked and thought long and hard about how we would like to handle February 20 the one year anniversary of Zach's graduation to heaven. We've decided on a couple things and we need your help to see them through. Today marks a day that we do not wish to reflect on, not literally anyway. We do however, want to remember and celebrate the life of Zach. He was such a blessing to us and in so many ways he still is. Here is where we need your help...

Please take a minute and pray for the healing of our parents and families - I read somewhere that grandparents have a double hurt - a hurt for the loss of their grandchild and having to watch their children grieve. We know that our families are living examples of that truth and while they have been towers of strength and comfort for us we wish to likewise be that same comfort for them. Please pray for them.

And finally, please take a minute to post a comment to this blog with one of your favorite memories of Zach. It can be anything that comes to your mind... if you would rather email me your favorite memory please do so and I'll compile them and post them throughout the day. So much of the healing process is being able to share the joy and sorrow with those who love us. We truly appreciate all of you for allowing us to share our hearts with you.

God bless and lots of love ~
Matt, Jantina and Halleah

One of my favorite memories is when mom had Zach and wanted to check for teeth and Zach bit down on her finger really hard. Jantina had tears in her eyes, as I guess she found out that he had teeth...of course, Zach just turned to me and smiled....very, very cute!!
