For the curious people who waited patiently to meet me.... At Friday's doctor's appointment the doctors agreed that my mom had progressed enough on her own to let her go home and give it one more week. Remember, mom really wanted to into labor on her own! Well, on Saturday morning my mom woke up with some irregular contractions but they started getting stronger around the noon hour. So mom and dad went to the hospital.
When they checked in, my mom was dialated to 4 cm and completely effaced. The contractions were at 5 to 7 minute intervals so Dr. Hansen (my mom likes her) decided to go ahead and break her water! I still cannot believe that Dr. Hansen did that to me! I liked my comfy water bed.
My mom's water was broken around 1 p.m. and I was born at 5:14 p.m. Just like my brother Zach, my mom did it without any drugs! I think she may be crazy but dad says she is just super woman. LOL
