So many things running through my mind tonight. But the ache in my heart relates to cycle of life. Watching my family walk step by step in faith and love supporting a good friend during a time of difficulty.
I reminded of Proverbs 3:3 - Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
It sounds so simple. Like a quote you might glance over in search of something 'deeper.' Unless you've been here. That place where tomorrow is not certain and today seems to overwhelming to reflect on. That place where love and faithfulness are all you have. Written on the tablet of your heart they sustain you when nothing else makes sense.
I like it. I find comfort in those words. Let love and faithfulness never leave you.
