I have to say this... every time I read through his obituary I am sadden when I see my name. God never intended for us to feel this pain. Never ever.
As my mind fills in the the spaces inbetween the words I have to keep reminding myself time and time again. Jesus already conquored the grave. The victory is not in the fact that Todd has been freed from his early body that failed him but that he is in heaven, communing with Jesus. Jesus conquored the grave. Jesus put death in its place.
This is how my mind is today. I read and re-read. Wishing there wasn't another name in the "preceeded" by paragraph on my obituary someday.
I read and re-read and the longing in my heart to witness the day the devil goes down for good, to witness for myself the majesty of heaven...
